Committed to fostering growth in the agricultural sector, LANFarms operates in Nigeria, serving as a bridge between wholesalers, retailers, and consumers. As we expand our footprint, we are seeking motivated Sales Development Representatives to play a pivotal role in driving Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sales.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
– Identify and research potential D2C customers, including consumers, retailers, and wholesalers in the agro space.
– Generate leads through targeted outreach, digital marketing efforts, and networking.
2. Sales Engagement:
– Engage with potential customers to promote the benefits of Lanfarms’ agrocommerce platform.
– Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the diverse range of agro products in the marketplace.
3. Relationship Building:
– Build and nurture relationships with D2C customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
– Provide personalized assistance and support to enhance the customer experience.
4. Marketing Campaigns:
– Collaborate with the marketing team to implement D2C-focused marketing campaigns.
– Utilize digital channels, social media, and other platforms to increase awareness and drive traffic to the agrocommerce marketplace.
5. Partnership Development:
– Work closely with retailers, wholesalers, and outlets to establish partnerships that enhance the marketplace’s offerings.
– Negotiate and implement promotional activities and exclusive deals to attract a wider customer base.
6. Sales Metrics and Targets:
– Set and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
– Track and report key performance metrics related to lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue.
7. Customer Support Collaboration:
– Collaborate with the customer support team to promptly address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
– Gather insights from customer interactions to contribute to ongoing platform improvements.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in D2C sales, preferably in the e-commerce or agro-industry.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
– Familiarity with CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
– Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

This is a commission-based role with a competitive commission structure designed to reward your success. As a Sales Development Representative at LANFarms, you have the opportunity to directly impact your earnings based on your performance. The more sales you generate, the higher your commission.
